Achill seascape was formed by James O'Connor, who moved here 14 years ago and fell in love with Achill and the surrounding waters and now wants to give everybody a chance to experience the natural wonder of Achill and the surrounding area from the water.

With the help of the Brexit Blue Economy Enterprise Grant through BIM, it gave Achill Seascape the opportunity to proceed with the purchase of a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) from Atlantic Compoisite in Donegal. With this project James is proud to keep local jobs and investments along the Irish coast.  James himself has a P5 licence for commercial passenger boat up to 12ppl. He undertook his training in the Seamanship center, Killybegs, this  included first Aid, sea survival, VHF Radio, advance power boating, and coastal navigation. With his head chef experience he also has his food health and safety qualifications up to date.
