You are travelling on a safe open boat, it can get wet from time to time. We provide wet weather gear, however, make sure you wrap up warm.Please consider you will be out on the open sea and temperatures are often a couple of degrees cooler than the shore. We will supply you with the waterproofs, what you wear underneath is up to you. Check the weather and dress accordingly. You will enjoy your time much more if you’re warm. The Atlantic Ocean is a dynamic environment. The weather and sea conditions forever changing. The elements are what shape the incredible landscape and give the conditions for the eco-systems to thrive. We must respect the weather at all times so trips may change routes to best suit the given conditions.

Booking Information for Achill Seascape:

1. Payment is required at the time of booking.

2. All bookings become non-refundable within 48 hours of the departure time. If canceled 48 hours or more before departure, a full refund will be provided.

3. Online bookings can be made exclusively through our website at www.achillseascape.com. 

4. A minimum of 4 passengers is necessary for each sailing. If this requirement is not met, we will notify you well in advance, offering an alternative date/time or a full refund.

5. The minimum age for passengers is 8 0r 140cm years old, but for longer tours we would recommend 12 years of age.

6. While we strive to operate  Trips, weather and sea conditions are beyond our control. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings. In case of cancellation, we will fully refund affected passengers, but we hold no liability for additional expenses.

7. Weather conditions during the trip are not our responsibility, and poor weather is not considered a valid reason for relocating a booking.

8. In the event of an emergency return, Achill Seascape will refund the appropriate rate.

9. Prices are in euro, inclusive of VAT.

10. Trips may deviate from a planned route if necessary due to weather or sea conditions, and customers will be informed of any changes prior to sailing.

11. Passengers must arrive 20 minutes before departure at the designated spot. Late arrivals may result in missed departures with no eligibility for later bookings or refunds. Ensure a provided mobile telephone number is accessible on the booking day.

12. We prioritizes on-time departures and is not responsible for factors beyond our control, such as late-running commuter services, traffic, or parking difficulties.

13. Breakdowns may occur, and actions taken during such events are at the discretion of the skipper.

14. Passenger relocations or goodwill gestures will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the office team, depending on the nature of the breakdown and its impact.

15. Refunds in extenuating circumstances are at the complete discretion of  Achill Seascape. All refund requests must be in writing and will be investigated on a case-by-case basis.

All customers are asked to complete a waiver prior to taking a RIB trip.

OVER 18'e: Must sign a waiver for themselves

UNDER 18'e: Will need a parent or Guardian to sign the waiver on their behalf.

 Customers are asked to arrive twenty minutes in advance of their trip, to allow sufficient time to read and sign the waiver document.

 

Our trips still run on rainy days. This adventure is about getting out on the sea and even on a perfectly dry day, there’s a few splashes, so we simply wrap you up in waterproof gear and go for it!

WHAT IF MY TRIP IS CANCELLED?

Our trips will not run in extreme wind or sea conditions. In this event, we will offer you the opportunity to reschedule your trip for another day. If this is not suitable, we will issue you with a full refund.  We require at minimum of 24 hours notice on any customer cancellations to allow for a full refund to be issued.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

We have different age limitations for different trips. Our Family RIB adventure is at a pace suitable for children from 8 years upwards.  Sea Safari and Basking Shark tour is suitable for children over 12 years of age is recommended or a minimum of 130cm in height.
